On one of the most gorgeous, blue-skied days in May, Anna and Andy were married. It was so difficult to narrow down my favorite photos into a suitable amount for a blog post because I love them ALL so much! Anna was a perfect vision as a bride, and Andy was looking pretty dapper himself, and all day I was surrounded by pretty details that showed just how much love and planning went into this day!
Anna and Andy chose the most beautiful gardens for us to take pictures of their first look before the ceremony. The anticipation, joy, and happy contentment of those moments are everything I love about doing a first look (and really, that expression on Andy's face is priceless!). Their bridal party, which was made up of their siblings and closest friends, joined us for photos -- some of my favorite group shots! The ceremony took place by a lake nearby. After their vows, they took communion, washed each other's feet, and participated in worship as their first acts as a married couple. Then everyone went to the reception to dance the night away! I was so thankful that Anna and Andy were willing to let me steal them away for a few minutes during the middle of their reception, because we were able to capture some gorgeous shots in the sunset light. Love these two friends and wish we didn't live so far away! I can't wait to see how they will work, love, serve, and change the world together.
