Saturday was the beginning of a new, sweet chapter in Kristin and Joe's love story as they became husband and wife! Joe is from England and Kristin is from Ohio, and they met while she was in London on a study abroad trip (I LOVE their story!). After spending most of their relationship separated by about four thousand miles, this was certainly a day they had been anticipating for a long time. These two have hearts of gold, and their wedding day was full of love, happy tears, and the most enviable British accents. :)
Whenever it rains on wedding days, I am always SO thankful to have couples like Kristin and Joe -- they were so easy going, adventurous, and trusted me to take them outside and make pretty pictures. After their beautiful ceremony at St. Matthew, we popped open some umbrellas, went outside with their bridal party, and they worked it! Soon the rain stopped, and we were able to go down by the water near their reception at Creekside Conference and Event Center. I love the quintessential spring look that their wedding day held! Their color scheme of dusty rose and gold looked absolutely stunning in the beautiful, window-lit space at Creekside.
Kristin and Joe, working with you two was such a joy! Thank you for inviting me into your day, and for making my job the best by being your kind and adorable selves. :) Being married to your best friend is the sweetest thing in the world, and I'm just so excited for you both as you begin married life together!!
