Morgan and Alex are one of the most warm-hearted, genuine, and in-love couples you could ever meet, and I knew from the start that their wedding day was going to be unforgettable. Alex proposed to Morgan at Sunset Beach, North Carolina, where she goes on vacation with family every year -- and of course, Alex has become part of that tradition, and now officially part of the family! Family is very special to both of them, and it was clear on their wedding day that they mean the world to so many of their relatives and friends who came to celebrate with them, from as far away as Germany!
To start off the day, Morgan and her bridesmaids got ready in the cutest little Airbnb cottage in German Village. With natural light pouring in through the large windows, it was a perfect place for the morning's preparations. Morgan hit it out of the park with the wedding gown she picked -- it was sweet and flowy, and she looked stunning! The best part was seeing Alex's reaction during their first look. They met up under a large tree at their venue, and once he saw Morgan, I don't think either of them stopped smiling all day. After a few pictures with the bridal party at Scioto Audubon, we were off to the church to get these sweethearts married!
Morgan and Alex's ceremony at the historic Holy Cross Church was beautiful, and I definitely saw a few happy tears shed from those watching. Once they were officially hitched, it was time to celebrate! On the way to the reception, we stopped at a couple locations with their bridal party for photos. They were such a fun, awesome group, even in the heat! The Grange Audubon Center was a beautiful place to host the reception, surrounded by nature and with an unrivaled view of the Columbus skyline. I love that even after a full day, Morgan and Alex were excited to create some more portraits at golden hour -- they made it magical!
Morgan and Alex, thank you so much for letting me capture this incredible day for you! I'm still in awe over all the love and beautiful moments that it held. You both are such wonderful people and I cannot wait to see what new adventures marriage will hold for you! Congratulations again, you two!!
